FAQ

BIOWASH FOR PLANTS – CONCENTRATED

  1. Is Biowash For Plants a fertilizer?
Biowash is not a fertilizer. It is a fertilizer booster solution blended from processed extracts of natural plants that enhances the positive effects of fertilizers.

  2. Why are home gardeners so excited about Biowash For Plants?
Biowash boosts the efficiency of fertilizers by increasing the plant's cationic exchange capacity, resulting in visibly increased growth and yields. By increasing BRIX (plant sugar) in plants, Biowash also helps plants in their ability to naturally repel insects. Further, Biowash helps plants resist frost damage (down to 27 degrees), is non-carcinogenic, non-toxic and 100% biodegradable.

  3. If Biowash For Plants is not a fertilizer how does it stimulate growth that results in greater yields and profits?
Biowash visibly increases Cationic Exchange Capacity (CEC) in plant root systems, increasing their ability to more efficiently absorb essential nutrients and retain moisture. A bio-physicist further advises that Biowash enables leaves to absorb moisture and nitrogen from the air, hence plants growth faster, stronger and heavier, farmer earns more with earlier harvest and heavier vegetables and fruits.

  4. Does using Biowash as a fertilizer booster increase my costs?
No. It should reduce your costs. The increased efficiencies reduce or eliminate the need for expensive commercial fertilizers and pesticides while boosting yields, thus increase profits. Another benefit is the reduction of environmental contamination caused by commercial fertilizers.

  5. Is Biowash For Plants an insecticide? How does it help reduce attacks by bacteria & insects?
Biowash is NOT an insecticide. However, Biowash plants produce sweater brix (plant sugar)  hence insect are not able to digest the increase in brix level therefore acts as a natural insecticide to many insects. For this reason, growers report that Biowash reduces the number of pests that attack plants, therefore reducing the need for applying insecticide.

  6. Will Biowash For Plants help me get my produce to market ahead of my competitors?
Field reports reflect that Biowashed fruit trees were seen to flower and bud as much as four weeks ahead of non-Biowashed trees. The Biowash ability to protect against late frost damage may be a factor. However, period may vary due to different condition such as weather, soil, water, type of crops etc.
See vegetable farmer user experience in our blog.

  7. Can Biowash For Plants extend my growing season?
Yes. Growers advised that indeterminate vegetables such as squash, peppers, tomatoes, etc. continue producing for much longer after Biowashed.
See rice paddy farmer user experience here

  8. Can Biowash For Plants help protect against drought?

Yes. The strong root size resulting from Biowash's ability to stimulate cationic exchange permits increased absorption and retain moisture in plants.

  9. Does Biowash For Plants work on all plants?

An agronomist has said “….if a plant has roots and leaves, Biowash For Plants should help it.

  10. Are there additional benefits to commercial farmers apart from increasing production & quality of crops?
    THERE ARE MANY!

    Examples:
-- Readily biodegradable, plant –based solution that creates no hazardous chemical runoff and emits no irritating or offensive fumes.
-- Easily cleans barns and farm equipment and removes dust, oil, pesticides and insect stains from plants and produce.
-- Facilitates improved employee comfort & health, require no special protective equipment or clothing to use it, thus reduce potential liability to the farmer.

-- Creates no “toxic drift” on to neighboring properties.

  11. What are the ingredients in Biowash For Plants?

Biowash is a proprietary blend of processed extracts from natural plants (phyto-chemicals) such as cactus, coconuts, corn, grain, grass, potatoes, rice, soy, sugar cane, tree sap, etc, plus minute amounts of bio-based wetting agents. The only ingredient not derived from plants is a minute amount of kosher EDTA, which is so safe that chelation doctors use it in cleaning patient arteries.

  12. What is the cost of application of Biowash For Plants to commercial crops?

It varies according to plantation areas, crop types, tree sizes, environment and situation/problems that you are facing. If unsure or to clarify further please drop us an email at biowashasia@gmail.com

  13. How much growers has experienced in increased profit after using Biowash For Plants?

Increases in individual profit varies due to different markets and situations. Anecdotal reports by growers using Biowash have reflected as little as 20% increased profits to as high as 1500% increased yield. Growers are also reporting increased profits stemming from reduced need for fertilizers and insecticides. Reduced freeze or drought damage alone could save a season’s income.

  14. Is there a shelf life for Biowash For Plants?

The shelf life of Biowash is at least one year if it is kept tightly closed and stored in a cool, shady area.
Is there a storage recommendation when traveling in hot climates?
If users follow the recommendations for shelf life, short term travel should not be an issue.

  15. Why stop application of Biowash For Plants when blooms appear?

    Because:-
    (1) The use of pressure applicators can blow the blooms away and;
    (2) To avoid potential harm to bees that may be pollinating the blooms.

  16. I’ve heard that soaking seed overnight in Biowash For Plants improves germination. Should I soak seeds? If so, how long should they soak and in which product?
We recommend using care when soaking seeds. Biowash works well on larger, hard seeds but in very small soft seeds it could dissolve the germ that sprouts. Always test a few seeds before applying to a whole crop. If you soak seeds you may use one 30ml of BioWash For Plants – Concentrated per 50L of water and soak them overnight. view here to see eg of paddy seeds soaked 7 days in rain water.

  17. What effect will BioWash have on plants if it is not diluted properly?

In this case, more is not better. Biowash is a gentle yet exceptionally powerful. If applied in too strong dilution it could dissolve the oily, waxy protective coating on the leaves, leaving them more susceptible to disease. The beginning suggested dilution is 30ml to 15L of water. This dilution may be adjusted after testing.

  18. What is the most preferred method to use Biowash For Plants?

Foliar feeding (spraying) is more preferred by growers as it is convenient and also due to its fine dilution, it is easily absorbed by leaves, growers also apply them weekly & happy with the results they are getting. If application is via an irrigation system, dilutions vary. A dilution rate of 120ml of Biowash For Plants – Concentrated to 16L of water is a good rule of thumb.

  19. When is the best time of day to apply Biowash For Plants?

Field results indicate that Biowash produces more benefits when applied in the early morning or late afternoon sunlight because sunlight enhances the photosynthesis process.

  20. How soon should I start using Biowash For Plants on my plantation/plants?

Start application as soon as the plant is hardy enough to absorb the liquid, usually when the plant has produced at least 3 leaves or is about 5” high. Repeat applications at intervals ranging from weekly to at least once per month.

  21. Do you have suggested dilution for plants (types of crops, trees, application frequency etc)?
You may email us at biowashasia@gmail.com to request on suggested dilution for your crops.

BIOWASH FOR PLANTS – SOIL AMENDMENT

  1. What is the difference between Biowash For Plants Concentrated vs Soil Amendment?
Soil amendment has the ability to:-
    (1) Neutralize acidic soil
    (2) Neautralize acidic water
    (3) Cleanse poisoned / contaminated soil prior to planting

  2. Does it work the same as Biowash For Plants Concentrated?
Biowash Soil Amendment does not have the same exact effect as Biowash Concentrated as the solution is much stronger and meant to use for more extreme treatment. See here for example of how Biowash Soil Amendment can help cleanse contaminated soil.
